夜幕低垂，蟲鳴聲在森林裡迴盪。傑克和安妮走進樹屋，發現桌上多了一本厚重的書。書封面描繪著一座古老的城堡，石牆高聳，窗戶裡閃著詭異的燭光。安妮瞪大眼睛：「哇，看起來像童話裡的魔法城堡！」
傑克推了推眼鏡，小心翼翼地說：「也可能是鬧鬼的地方……」
他們的好奇心最終戰勝了猶豫。當安妮大聲許下願望，熟悉的旋轉感再度出現，他們降落在一片寂靜的山谷。眼前的城堡孤零零地矗立在山丘上，夜霧繚繞，烏鴉在塔尖盤旋。
「這裡好像有點恐怖。」傑克低聲說。
「別怕，我們去探險！」安妮握住哥哥的手，大步走向城堡大門。
大門吱呀一聲打開，映入眼簾的是一條長長的走廊。火把搖曳的光影在石牆上跳動，讓人感覺隨時會有什麼東西衝出來。牆上掛滿了騎士的盔甲和古老的畫像，畫中的人物眼神似乎在跟隨他們。
走到大廳時，他們遇見了一位穿著長袍的老管家。他的聲音低沉而神秘：「你們是受邀來幫忙解謎的嗎？」
安妮馬上點頭：「是的！」
傑克驚訝地回頭看她，但還是跟著附和。
原來，城堡裡有一個被遺忘的秘密。傳說幾百年前，一位魔法師將一枚寶石封印在城堡深處。這顆寶石掌握著守護城堡的力量，但也可能落入壞人之手。只有純潔而勇敢的孩子才能找到它。
於是，傑克和安妮被帶入一間藏書室。裡面堆滿了厚厚的古籍，還有一張畫滿符號的地圖。傑克立刻專注研究，指著地圖說：「看！寶石應該藏在地下密室。」
安妮則興奮地拉著他：「走吧，去看看！」
他們穿過蜿蜒的走廊，踩著嘎吱作響的木梯，終於來到地窖。地窖裡黑漆漆的，只有一支火把微弱的光。忽然，一陣冷風吹過，牆上的盔甲倒下來，差點砸中安妮。傑克緊張地說：「這一定是魔法的考驗！」
接著，他們遇見了一道石門，上面刻滿奇怪的符號。傑克翻開書頁，一個個對照，終於解開了密碼。石門慢慢打開，露出一間小小的密室。裡面放著一個木盒，盒子上閃爍著柔和的藍光。
安妮小心翼翼地打開盒子，裡面躺著那顆寶石，晶瑩剔透，散發著溫暖的光芒。就在這時，牆壁震動起來，彷彿整座城堡都在呼吸。
突然，老管家的身影出現在門口。他露出欣慰的笑容：「你們通過了考驗。寶石回到了值得信任的人手中，城堡將繼續受到保護。」
大廳裡，燭光再次亮起，原本冰冷的氣氛變得溫暖而莊嚴。傑克和安妮與城堡的居民們一同慶祝，他們載歌載舞，就像古老的傳統再度被喚醒。
最後，樹屋的召喚響起。兄妹倆帶著寶石的光芒回到現實。傑克合上書本，低聲說：「原來勇氣與智慧，才能解開最深的謎。」
安妮笑著回答：「還有一點點冒險的心！」
English Story
Night fell, and crickets chirped in the forest. Inside the treehouse, Jack and Annie found a thick book. On its cover was a castle with tall stone walls and glowing candlelight in its windows.
“Wow, it looks like a magic castle from a fairy tale!” said Annie.
Jack adjusted his glasses. “Or maybe a haunted place…”
Curiosity won over fear. Annie made a wish, and with the familiar spin, they landed in a quiet valley. On the hill stood a lonely castle, shrouded in mist, with crows circling its towers.
“This place feels creepy,” Jack whispered.
“Don’t be scared. Let’s explore!” Annie grabbed his hand.
The heavy doors creaked open, revealing a long corridor lit by torches. Shadows danced on the walls, which were lined with knight armor and ancient portraits. The painted eyes seemed to follow them.
In the grand hall, they met an old butler in robes. His voice was deep and mysterious: “Have you come to solve the castle’s riddle?”
“Yes!” Annie answered at once.
Jack stared but nodded too.
The butler explained: centuries ago, a wizard sealed a jewel deep inside the castle. It held power to protect the castle but could be dangerous in the wrong hands. Only pure and brave children could find it.
He led them into a library filled with old books and a map covered in strange symbols. Jack studied it carefully. “Look, the jewel is in the underground chamber.”
“Let’s go!” Annie urged.
They passed winding halls and creaky stairs, reaching the cellar. It was dark except for a flickering torch. Suddenly, a gust knocked over armor, almost hitting Annie.
“This must be a magical test,” Jack said nervously.
They found a stone door carved with symbols. Jack flipped through a book, matched the signs, and unlocked it. The door opened to a small chamber with a glowing wooden box.
Annie carefully lifted the lid. Inside lay the jewel, shining with a warm blue light. The walls trembled, as if the castle itself was alive.
The butler appeared again, smiling. “You passed the test. The jewel is safe with you, and the castle is protected once more.”
Lights brightened, and the hall filled with warmth. The castle’s residents sang and danced in celebration.
When the treehouse called, Jack and Annie returned home with the memory of the glowing jewel.
“Courage and wisdom solve the deepest mysteries,” Jack whispered.
“And a little adventure too!” Annie laughed.
